The four-member contingent, representing the Bayonne Recreation Dolphins Special Olympics team turned in fabulous performances at the recently held 2014 SOHC/Area 1 invitational relay swim meet.
The event was contested at the Lincoln Community School #5 pool, and the results follow:
4×25 – m freestyle: 3rd place (bronze medal) Kaitlyn Frey, Elaina Walsh, Jovanni Torres and Ian Hudacko.
4×50 – m freestyle: 2nd place (silver medal) Kaitlyn Frey, Elaina Walsh, Jovanni Torres and Ian Hudacko.
The dolphins were accompanied to the event by their coaches John Valdora (who also served as meet director), Theresa Diaz, and Denise Bawiec,
