Funeral mass took place May 16 at Holy Family Church for Mary M. Fischl, 97, of North Bergen. She passed away May 13. She was born in Union City and lived most of her life in North Bergen. Mary was the owner of the Fischl’s Bakery in Union City for many years and then worked as a cashier for Shop-Rite Super Market in Union City until her retirement in 1980. She was the widow of the late Frank J. Fischl, Sr. and the mother of Frank J Fischl Jr. and wife Doris, Kathleen Bjornholm and husband Richard and Marie Keim. She was the sister of the late William and Alfred Hobler, Anna Nicholas and Augusta Dorner. She was the sister in law of Rose Fischl and the friend of Josephine Angelini and the grandmother of six grand and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
