Early lead gives MAS DEMOLITION easy victory over CASSESA’S, 8-1

MAS DEMOLITION took down CASSESA’S 8-1 on Saturday May 3 at Hoboken after slamming CASSESA’S with five runs in the second inning. MAS DEMOLITION scored in the second on an error, a two-run triple by DONNY ROSSO, and an error. DONNY racked up three RBIs on two hits for MAS DEMOLITION. MAS DEMOLITION built upon its lead with three runs in the fifth. DONNY kicked things off with a single, bringing home MAXWELL KIRK and CONNER CALONI. That was followed up with a steal of home by NATALIE LOBUE.

ELKS offense too much for FIRE DEPT. in 14-1 rout

ELKS jumped out to an early lead on FIRE DEPT. and captured a 14-1 victory on Saturday at Hoboken. With 14 runs in the first three innings, ELKS left no doubt about the eventual outcome. A two-run error and a steal of home by THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA during the first inning and an RBI single by ANTHONY PERRINOD, a steal of home by ANTHONY, and an RBI single by MICAL AVILES in the second inning fueled ELKS’ offense early. ANTHONY went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for ELKS.SABASTIAN STOHRER got the win for ELKS.

YOUNG DEMS gets no-hitter from FLACO COLON, beats CHIRICHELLA BOYS 10-0

YOUNG DEMS’ FLACO COLON stole the show on Saturday, pitching a no-hitter in a 10-0 win over CHIRICHELLA BOYS at Hoboken. No CHIRICHELLA BOYS batter was able to locate FLACO’s pitches during the game. FLACO threw a no-hitter, striking out 15 batters and walking two. YOUNG DEMS’ JAYSON BLANKS, JUSTIN BROWN and FLACO combined for four hits and three RBIs.

POLICE DEPT. jumps on CASSESA’S early and coasts to 13-1 win

POLICE DEPT. refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against CASSESA’S, recording a 13-1 victory on Wednesday May 7 at Hoboken. With 10 runs in the first three innings, POLICE DEPT. left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI double by LUCA CONETTA and an error in the first inning and an error and a walk by TIGE MAUSETH during the second inning fueled POLICE DEPT.’s offense early. POLICE DEPT. was led by a flawless day at the dish by NIAM GILYARD, who went 3-3 against CASSESA’S’ pitching. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and fourth innings. CHARLTON ALONSO looked sharp on the mound.

ZACH OSWALD hits and pitches PICCOLO’S to 4-3 victory

An impressive two-way performance from ZACH OSWALD led PICCOLO’S to a 4-3 win Tuesday May 6 over FIORE’S, as ZACH came up huge at the dish and on the rubber. It was a good day at the plate for PICCOLO’S’ ZACH went 1-3 and drove in one. He tripled in the second inning. ZACH was in control on the hill. FIORE’S managed just one hit off of the PICCOLO’S’ pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked four and struck out eight during his 5 2/3 innings of work. The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game. PICCOLO’S finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fifth inning. PICCOLO’S scored on an RBI single by BRANDON JURADO scoring CHRISTIAN CONTE. FIORE’S scored one run in the sixth on a solo home run by GRIFFEN HAAS.

YOUNG DEMS survives POLICE DEPT. rally, escapes with 6-4 victory

POLICE DEPT. lost 6-4 to YOUNG DEMS after falling behind by five runs in the fourth inning. POLICE DEPT. scored three runs in the sixth on an error and an RBI triple by LU RIVERA. SEAN SMITH led YOUNG DEMS’ offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the fourth inning. YOUNG DEMS got the win thanks in large part to JUSTIN BROWN‘s dominant, nine-strikeout performance. JUSTIN allowed no earned runs, two hits and five walks over 4 1/3 innings.

ANDREW PARADES hits and pitches RUSSO’S to 18-1 victory

ANDREW PARADES was strong at the plate and on the hill in carrying RUSSO’S to a 18-1 victory over MAS DEMOLITION on Wednesday May 7 at Hoboken. ANDREW racked up three RBIs on four hits for RUSSO’S. ANDREW put together a nice outing. RUSSO’S’ bats came to life in the third inning. RUSSO’S’ bats caught fire leading to 14 runs. RUSSO’S scored in the third on a walk by KERRY NEVILLE, a fielder’s choice, a groundout by JAE COTO, a two-run single by JONATHAN SALINAS, an RBI triple by MATTHEW HARASACK, a walk by MICHAEL TAMIR, an RBI double by MICHAEL EFFINGER, a two-run single by ANDREW, a bases loaded walk by MAXWELL KIRK, and an RBI single by MICHAEL TAMIR
