Sinatra – gone, but not forgotten

Dear Editor:
May 14th marks the 16th anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s passing. Time once again to remember and appreciate Frank’s gift to us all. He was a classy entertainer who left a legacy of enjoyment for us all through his marvelous interpretation of lyrics and acting.
When he was down but not quite out, he made an incredible comeback during the 1950s and 1960s via albums and film, continuing until his death in 1998. I doubt there will be another like him and so I, and many of his peers will remember the good times we all had while he was with us.
Singers Peggy King and the All-Star Jazz Trio, Harry Prime, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett, Jane Powell, music director/musician George Roumanis, musician and president of Vinyl Groove Productions Billy Jon Coogan, music video consultant and archivist Anthony DiFlorio III, WYYR program director Chris Valenti and millions of Frank’s fans remember the amazing legacy left to us. “Infinite” is the best way to describe Sinatra’s impact and longevity.
