Where is Andrew Jarzyk? One week since 27-year-old man disappeared in Hoboken

HOBOKEN — Family and friends of Andrew Jarzyk, 27, organized a search on Hoboken’s waterfront Saturday to try to help find clues about the disapperance of their friend and family member a week ago.
Jarzyk spent last Saturday night at a supper club on Monroe Street in Hoboken with friends. He left the bar around 1 a.m. Sunday morning, headed two blocks to his apartment, changed into running clothes, and headed a mile east to jog along the waterfront. He was training for a marathon, friends said.
Video cameras from waterfront restaurants captured Jarzyk jogging past Pier C park on the central waterfront, then onto Pier A at the southern end of the waterfront. Police have not found video of him exiting the pier. If he did exit, he could have continued south via the waterfront walkway into Jersey City, or headed back west toward home. Right now, all observers can do is speculate.
Police completed a search of the water near Pier A last week, using scuba divers and helicopters, but turned up nothing.
Family members continued to try to raise awareness, hoping someone would have clues about Jarzyk’s disappearance.
Interested observers continued to ask questions on an internet Websleuthing board here.
On Thursday, Jarzyk’s girlfriend posted on Facebook: “There are no words to express how truly grateful we all are for everyone’s support in finding Andrew. For those of you that don’t know him– He’s such a genuine, good hearted person that puts anyone and everyone before himself. He’s responsible. He is respectful. He is driven. He completely adores his family. Every single day he would tell me a funny story about a family member or friend and follow it up with, ‘I love them so much.’ He is honest and compassionate. He is by far the funniest, quick-witted, will do anything to make you smile & laugh person. He randomly wears a beaver costume, just because it’s funny as hell. He’s a hugger. He loves his country and dance music. He’s so so so easy going. He loves his sports. He’s so loveable. His smile melts my heart. “Hi sweetheart,” is what I heard whenever I’d answer the phone. A conversation with him will be guaranteed constant laughter. He’s romantic. Every single day, multiple times a day, he would make me feel so special. His family and his friends are absolutely everything to him; I can’t express that enough. No words will do justice for what an impact he has put in the lives of the people he has met. For those of you that don’t know him, that’s just a tiny glimpse of the person we love. Please continue to share and bring him home to all of us.”
