A funeral mass was held April 4 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Joseph C. “Joe” Kellenberger, 79, of Secaucus, formerly of Union City. He passed away March 31. He was the husband of Diane Kellenberger; father of Kevin, Joseph and his wife Genevieve, Lisa Morrin and Kerri Sprieser and her husband Paul; grandfather of Joseph, Katie, Gary, Stephen and Stephanie; brother of Robert and Catherine Kellenberger and the late Arnold, Delores and Richard; brother-in-law of Marianne Taormina, Mary Kellenberger and Debra Braun, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, earning the Bronze Star. He was a tractor trailer driver and manager for UPS for 35 years. Upon retiring he worked for the past 15 years for Dignity Memorial.
Joe was a member of the Secaucus VFW and was to be the grand marshal of the Secaucus Memorial Day Parade. Funeral services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
