Weehawken recreation officials and Mayor Richard F. Turner have announced the following schedule for tryouts to the township’s baseball and softball teams:
Saturday March 15 at the Webster School Gym, 2700 Palisade Ave., Cal Ripken minors ages 7-9 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., and Cal Ripken Majors ages 10-12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Instructional baseball ages 5 to 7 – registration only during the Cal Ripken try-outs.
Saturday March 15 at the Weehawken High School Gym, 53 Liberty Place and Highwood Ave.,
Babe Ruth Boys ages 13 – 15, 1- 3 p.m.
Girl’s softball try outs at the Webster School Gym. 6:30 to 8 p.m. Ages: 16U – Mondays March 10 and March 17; 12U – Tuesday March 18; and 10U – Wednesday March 19.
Weehawken Residents only are eligible.
