Trailing early, the Rockets defense settled in with Meghann Mock, Natallyah Teixeira, and Eric Orczykowski log jamming the Sonics’ offensive torrent. While their defense dug in, the Rockets’ offense led by Kevin Aguilar and Madison Neal Markowski heaped a dozen shots on net but the Sonics’ goal tending trifecta of Drew Radil, James Johnson, and Joshua Verzosa proved to be at the ready. Holding a slim two goal advantage, the Sonics’ Allen “Lefty” McComb stepped up to nail two scoring blasts while Jared Radil and Joshua Verzosa tallied assists.
