Boasting a (4-0) record, the Wizards lead the pack in the JCC of Bayonne’s Indoor Soccer Jr. Division while the (1-3) Knights are still working out some kinks. The bout started out at an even pace as Josue Belber blasted his first goal of the season for the Knights only to be matched by the Wizards’ T. J. Wolf’s scoring kick to tie the game. Both defenses held their ground for the next ten minutes as Alanis Concepcion, Aaliyana Cifuentes, Raquel Belber, and Alejandro Cifuentes led the effort for the Knights while Michael Cordero, Kasper Hooks, ad Declan McCormick brickwalled for the Wizards’ defensive ranks. Frustrated by the slow pace, the Wizards’ team captain T. J. Wolf sparked a Wizards firestorm of goals by drilling in a penalty shot. Up 2-1, the Wizards kept rolling as Harsh Easwar (3), Declan McCormick (1), and T. J. Wolf (1) combined to jet the Wizards out to a 7-1 victory.
