A memorial service was held Feb. 8 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Charles Myron Jones (Boots), a lifelong resident of Jersey City. He passed away suddenly on Jan. 27. Boots leaves to mourn his passing three children, Camille Tyler of Jersey City, Carla Chase of Pikesville, Md. Charles Michael Tyler, Sr. of Jersey City; four grandchildren, Erin Wadley, Charles Michael Tyler, Jr. Myles and Maya Chase; two sisters Debra Johnson of Jersey City, Sheryl McAdoo, of Greensboro N.C., brother in law, Walter C. Johnson Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services arranged by the Jackson Funeral Residence, Jersey City.
