Radil’s super for Sonics

With the JCC of Bayonne’s Indoor Soccer just underway, the 2013 Sr. Division defending Champion Rockets find themselves down (0-1) as they face the (0-0) Sonics in their 2014 opener. The usually sure minded Rockets’ defense continued to look out of sync as they surrendered a quick goal to the Sonics’ Jared Radil who cashed in off an assist by James Johnson. Things soon got worse for the Rockets as the Sonics’ goalie Drew Radil hammered in a net to net scoring bolt making it 2-0, Sonics. In hopes of righting the ship, the Rockets powered up their offense with Chris Shaw, Kyle O’Hara, Kevin Aguilar, Angel Martinez and Eric Orczykowski each pouring shots on net but Drew Radil weathered the storm at his goal tending post. With the Rockets’ offense kept in check, the Sonics surged into full attack with Allen McComb, Adrianna “Magic” Morrone, Branden Ferreira, and Alejandro “See Ya” Cifuentes raining down shots from afar while Drew and Jared Radil AKA “The Radilators” combined with Joshua Verzosa to notch three more Sonics’ goals for a head turning 5-0 victory. Once again, a special mention must be given to the Rockets’ “no quit” effort spear-headed by Meghann Mock, Natallyah Teixeira, and Madison Neal-Markowski.
