A funeral mass took place Dec. 18 at St. Anne’s Church, Jersey City, for Albert E. Koska, 89, of Jersey City. He passed away at Christ Hospital on Dec. 12. Born in Brooklyn, Albert was a longtime resident of Jersey City. A graduate of Columbia University, he worked for General Accident Insurance as an Insurance Underwriter for many years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Columbia University Alumni Association and a communicant of St. Anne’s Church in Jersey City. Albert was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Koska. He is survived by his son, Robert and his partner, Richard Butler; daughter Leslie Fundakowski and her husband Mark, grandchildren, Garrett and Danielle; wife, Catherine and her daughter Cathy Stangil, her husband, Brad and their children Wayne and Jennifer.
