For the fourth year, “Give a Kid a Smile Day’ will be held Friday, Feb. 7 in Dr. Robin Lucas’ office at 232 Bloomfield St. in Hoboken.
“This is aimed at uninsured and low income families,” said a statement from the doctor’s office. A spokesperson said as in previous years, the services will be rendered by appointment only, and the patient’s parent or guardian must indicate that the child is uninsured at the time the appointment is made.
“We wish to inform the public that all children from ages 2 to 12 are invited to receive free dental services,” a statement from the doctor’s office said, “which will include exams, xrays, cleanings, sealants, and some restorative treatment. Limited space is available.”
The young patients will be seen on a first come first serve basis.
The doctor’s hours on Feb. 7 will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling (201) 798-8899.
