Thursday night, Dec. 12, the West New York zoning board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. and perhaps finally vote on the 35-unit Felice development application at 6025 Boulevard East.
Opponents of the Felice proposal are complaining about the 11 special variances that the complex has applied for in order to deviate from West New York’s zoning regulations.
The proposal exceeds the zoning board’s maximum density allotted in terms of units per acre. But the project is smaller than the old Alpy development on that spot, which the residents successfully fought in 2009.
The meeting takes place 6:30 PM at WNY Town Hall- 428 60th St.
