A funeral mass was offered Nov. 30 at St. Joseph and St. Michael R.C.C., Union City, for Josephine Sapia, 96, of Union City. She passed away Nov. 25. She was born in Jersey City and lived most of her life in Union City. Josephine was a seamstress and worked for Cathedrial Industries in Union City for many years before retiring. She was the wife of the late Peter Sapia. She was the mother of Maria McGuire and husband Hugh Jr. She was the grandmother of Hugh McGuire III, Esq. and Dr. Peter McGuire as well as the great grandmother of Brianna, Daniel, Ryan, Victoria and Jason. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
