Funeral mass was celebrated Dec. 5 at St. Rocco’s RC Church, Union City, for Albert Francis Naszimento, 90, of Secaucus, formerly Union City. He passed away peacefully in Secaucus surrounded by his family. Albert was a retired engineer with the Borg Warner Corporation; working there for more than 30 years. A WWII Army Air Force veteran, Al was part of the 388th Fighter Squadron. After returning home from war he went on to receive a BA in engineering from Rutgers University. Albert was predeceased by his wife, Florence. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Bruce Naszimento and his wife Maria, and Albert Naszimento and his wife Debra; and his grandchildren, Zachary Naszimento and his wife Dana, Brianne Livelli and her husband Peter, Bert Naszimento and his wife Catherine, Jake and Samantha Naszimento. A great joy in Al’s life were his great-grandchildren, Zachary, Ava, Makayla, and Anthony. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
