Funeral services were held Nov. 22 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Roger Tequan Allen, 22. He passed away Nov. 13. He was born in Hoboken to Roger Washington and Betty Jean Allen. Roger graduated from Ferris High School in Jersey City. Roger was predeceased by his mother, Betty Jean Allen and his grandmother, Freddie Lee Allen, who loved and nurtured Roger until her passing. He leaves to cherish his memory a son, Trayvon Mazyck; his father Roger Washington; four sisters, Tarsha, Jacqueline, Sarina and Catina Sharp; two brothers Atiba Allen and Marcus Sharp; special friends and mentors Evelyn, Eileen, Tyrone, Tonya, Cynthia, and Dr. Feingold, best friend Tyshawn, favorite aunt Charlottia, special friend Laniyah, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
