A funeral mass was offered Nov. 19 at St. Francis R.C. Church, Hoboken, for George P. Dolan, 80, a lifelong Hoboken resident. He passed away Nov. 15 at Meadowlands Hospital in Secaucus. A retired longshoreman on the local Hoboken piers, he was an avid weight lifter in his earlier years. He was the son of the late Edward J. Sr. and Cecilia (nee Preston). Predeceased by his brothers Edward, Richard and Peter, he is survived by his loving brother William and sister-in-law Jo Ann. He was a cherished uncle of Jo Ann Dolan, and Annette and husband James Davis, and beloved great uncle of Brandon, James, Kaitlyn and Olivia. Services arranged by the Failla Funeral Home, Hoboken.
