Meet the new boss same as the old boss

Dear Editor:
Old Mayor Jeremiah Healy should be proud of his young apprentice and astute student for mirroring his image, and becoming an excellent clone. Our new Mayor Steven Fulop proved to the residents of Jersey City. That Healy’s “rose colored glasses” of distortion and manipulation still exists?
Taxes were raised every year under Healy. Taxes were raised under Fulop. The streets, citizens, homes and property weren’t safe in Jersey City under Healy. The streets, citizens, homes and property aren’t safe under Fulop. Tax abatements were given freely under Healy. Fulop’s plan to revitalize Journal Square would also offer tax abatements with a little twist of improving the area, by the developer, but it’s still an abatement? Who always subsidizes this burden, the citizens of Jersey City?
No bid contracts were issued under Healy. Last heard Fulop was attempting to resurrect this policy. Healy was the master of smoke in mirror tactics. Fulop shuffles Departments without cutting the waste. Healy built his own personal empire of non-essential political demigods, while Fulop sees no problem in keeping most of these Healy appointees. Healy wanted to borrow money to pay for retirees pensions. Councilman Fulop blocked the idea said it wasn’t feasible. Mayor Fulop thinks it’s a great idea.
Here’s another great idea mayor; trim the budget of all financialeconomic inefficiencies? Where are the results from your so-called “desk audit”?
If Mayor Fulop wants to be another Mayor Healy then maybe we should have kept the original?
