Hundreds of Hoboken’s infants, toddlers, youngsters and teenagers showcased their Halloween costumes in the annual Ragamuffin Parade on Washington Street on Thursday. It began at 14th Street and culminated in a costume contest at the Little League Field.
Costumes ranged from the typical, like witches and ghouls, to the original, including a set of babies riding in a full blown unicorn plane. Indeed, a trend this year seemed to involve the inclusion of the baby carriage into the costume. Other examples included a baby dressed as a train conductor riding in his carriage, which was decked out to resemble Thomas the Tank Engine.
Last year, Halloween was postponed because of Hurricane Sandy. This year, the kids (young and old) came out in force! See our photos inside.
