Cristobal Rolon of Jersey City passed away on Oct. 17. He owned Rolon’s Bar in Jersey City for 48 years. He served in the Army in the Korean War. He is survived by wife Aurea (nee Bonilla), son Rey C. Rolon, siblings Pedro Juan, Tomasita, Juanita, Isabela, Jose, Wilfredo, and Gilbert Rolon, and Ada Iris Dela Cruz. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Juan Carlos and Christopher Rolon, and one great-grandson, Jason Rolon. Services were held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Jersey City, this past Monday, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
