More and enough rope available

Dear Editor:
I want to thank the Reporter’s Katherine Desimine for her fair assessment of More Rope, a collection of a second decade of Letters to the Editor of this paper, along with the responses these Letters generated. Yes, T. Weed did write “boldly about touchy subjects; controversial, heartwarming”, eliciting some “downright rude” responses, and why? Because some people just can’t stand to be reminded of certain uncomfortable truths.
She mentions that the book is “available in book stores.” Alas, there is only one book store left in Hoboken, Symposia, and that exists partly because of the civic-minded generosity of former Mayor Roberts.
Enough Rope, the first decade of Letters, and More Rope, the second decade, are both available at Symposia, and will be given away to anyone who asks, with the purchase of any book in the store.
