To the Editor:
Every day I walk along Broadway and Avenue C in the morning. Broadway has vastly improved on cleanliness, mainly because there are crews out there cleaning up the mess that was left by litterbugs. Avenue C is a different story. From 26th Street to downtown is a garbage disaster. Bottles, cans, and cups are all over the sidewalks, under trees, and in gutters. It is about time that litterbugs were given stiff fines, because they have no pride in themselves or the city. If Bayonne needs extra revenue this is a sure way to get it. Put out a litter patrol and enforce the law. Take pride in our city.
