Roque trial delayed several hours due to government shutdown

WEST NEW YORK – Deliberations by jurors in the trial of Mayor Felix Roque and his son were delayed due to the government shut down on Oct. 1. Jurors were forced to wait more than two hours to get into federal court in Newark while officials tried to sort out who were essential and non-essential workers. The jurors are in their third day of deliberations to decide whether or not the mayor and his son, Joseph, are guilty of conspiring to hack into a website of a political enemy. – by Al Sullivan
