Funeral mass was offered Aug. 17 at St. Ann’s RC Church, Hoboken, for Marion Hochstadter, 85, of Hoboken. She passed away Aug. 13 at the Fountains Manor in Secaucus. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Hochstadter lived in Hoboken most of her life. Marion was a housewife and mother who all of her time to family care. She was predeceased by her husband, retired (1987) Hoboken Police Lieutenant Robert Hochstadter; her daughter, Linda Mattia and her husband Robert; and seven siblings. Surviving are her two sons, Edward and Robert Hochstadter and their wives Ann Marie and Anette; a brother, Charles; six wonderful grandchildren, Edward Hochstadter Jr. and his wife Dara, Hoboken Police Sargent Scott Hochstadter, Anthony Hochstadter, Laura and Catherine Mattia, and Careena Menzel; and two great grandchildren, Evan and Ally.
