Funeral services were held Aug. 7 for Ilsemarie Rickmers, 89, of Clark, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away Aug. 3. Born in Ilster, Germany on July 27, 1924, Ilse eventually settled in Jersey City where she was known as “Mrs. Hark” to her neighborhood through the Rickmers Family Store. Ilsmarie was a wonderful mother to Neal and Charles and a true friend to all. She was the sister of Maria, Johann Heinrich and Gustav. She was predeceased by her husband, Hark and son, Charles. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
