Funeral services were held July 30 for Joan Rita Jimmerson, 83, of North Bergen. She passed away July 27. She was born in the Bronx, but grew up and spent all of her life in North Bergen. Joan was employed with the American Laundry Company in New York City until 1959 and was a member of the Sweet Adelines International. She was a homemaker, devout Roman Catholic and regular communicant. Mrs. Jimmerson was predeceased by her husband, Louis Jimmerson and her parents William and Johanna Monteith. She was also predeceased by her sister, Marie Patricia (Patsy) Denny. She is survived by her son, William Louis Jimmerson; grandchildren, Raymond, William, Jr., Nathaniel, and Brandon; her daughter, Joan Marie Jimmerson , her son Stephen Louis Jimmerson.
