The funeral liturgy was offered July 23 at Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church for Yianni Anastasiou, 89, of Jersey City. He passed away July 20. He was born in Thiva, Greece, and lived in Jersey City for over 50 years. He was husband of 57 years to the late Stella (Athanasenas); brother to Marigo and the late Theodora. Yianni was uncle to many nieces and nephews and other family members. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
