To the Editor:
We just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to our UPS driver of many years, who we know as Joe. He delivers all our specialty mail-order medications which are packed to stay cool along with various other deliveries. The other day, he delivered and assisted me with an air conditioner that was sent to me from the MS Society. This man is a godsend! I never saw anyone put so much effort and pride into his job. You can tell that he really enjoys helping people. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you get your delivery on time and delivered to your door the way in which it was sent. Who does that anymore, especially with such a busy schedule. I say that because his truck seems to be all over Bayonne. He cares. We live uptown on JFK Blvd. where he makes many deliveries. He treats us all the same while always finding the time to smile and ask how you are doing. UPS, you’ve found a hidden gem in Joe. Congrats in recognizing this rare trait in your employee. Kudos to you, UPS, for bringing back quality workers.
