Kenny Tarantino Memorial Fund golf outing planned

Plans have been finalized for the 10th Annual Kenny T. Golf Outing to be held on Friday, September 13 at the Cruz Farm Golf Club, Farmingdale, N.J., in memory of Kenneth Tarantino who died tragically in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center September 11, 2001. Kenny, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, was a broker with the firm Cantor Fitzgerald at the World Trade Center. He graduated from Bayonne High School and Seton Hall University and was a well-known and much-loved sports enthusiast with a very wide circle of friends. Kenny had two sons, Kenneth and Jason, with his wife Jennifer. All proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to Jillian Elias, who was injured when she was struck by a drunk driver, the Bayonne Little League, The Bayonne Cal Ripken League, Bayonne Ability Day Camp and The Friends of Special Children. Event organizers, Mickey Czok and Rich Bergalowski, have announced that buses will leave from the Starting Point Bar & Grill at the corner of First Street and Avenue A in Bayonne for Cruz Farm Golf Club at 6:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served at Cruz Farm upon arrival. Tee time for the event is 8 a.m. After the round of golf the day will be topped off with a buffet lunch and open bar at Cruz Farm Golf Club. Tickets will be $160 for golf and dinner.
