Eugene Howard, 87; passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Eugene was born in New York City and has lived in Bayonne for the past 25 years. He was the Director of Security for Bradford National Corporation in New York City for many years, prior to that he was a Lieutenant for the New York City Police Department, where he worked for over 20 years, before retiring in 1969. He was a member of the Superior Officers Association. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. Beloved Husband of Maureen (Nee:Hennessy). Devoted Father of Marianne Howard Siewers and Eugene Howard. Cherished Grandfather of Gavin and Anna. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Anne (Nee:Dunn) and his daughter Kathleen Howard. The viewing was on July 7 at the G. KEENEN O’BRIEN Funeral Home, Bayonne. Funeral Services were July 8 at the Rosehill Crematory Chapel, Linden.
