To the Editor:
I would like to express my sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to a few vendors in Bayonne who truly made my daughter’s birthday a huge success. Living out of state I was fearful it would be difficult to book and coordinate planning a party from so far away but the helpful people at the Bayonne Jewish Community Center, Stop and Shop, Carvel, and Judickes made it extremely simple and stress free. First I would like to thank Erin at the Bayonne Jewish Community Center. Erin went above and beyond coordinating my party down to the last detail. We traded numerous emails and phone calls. She took time to address all of my questions and concerns. The day of the party went off exactly as planned. All the children had an amazing time in the bounce house and getting their faces painted. Second, I would like to give a huge thank you to Joe at the deli department at the Bayonne Stop and Shop. Joe worked with me and my budget to make amazing platters of sandwiches, chicken fingers, fruit, cheese, and salads. He was extremely patient with me and made helpful suggestions regarding the amount and types of food. Everyone at the party enjoyed all the food and most even took home some extras. Carvel provided an amazing Nemo cake that my daughter absolutely loved, while the donuts and cookies from Judickes flew off the table. If anyone is planning a party or other catered event, I strongly encourage you to look into these vendors. Thank you all so much for making my daughter’s day so special.
