St. Joseph of the Palisades Elementary opens cutting edge facilities

With the help of a pair of donors, West New York’s St. Joseph of the Palisades Elementary has opened up a pair of brilliant facilities.
Thanks to the donations of the Mazzolla family of Franklin Lakes, and Insync Outsourcing Corporation’s Michael Licameli, the school was able to construct a new play area for its students, as well as a new science lab.
The play area, donated by the Mazzollas, features a new slide and jungle gym, in addition to a brilliantly painted background mural that proudly displays blue skies and green grass alongside the family’s name.
The science lab, donated by Licameli, features state-of-the-art equipment that is bound to appeal to both older and younger students.
Both the lab and play area were blessed by Most Rev. Manuel Cruz, the Auxiliary Bishop of Newark, and both Licameli and the Mazzolla family received plaques to commemorate their donations, which the school described in a release as “[having] assisted the school in its ongoing expansion of facilities and academic programs.”
Joining members of St. Joseph’s administration at the event were representatives from the Archdiocese of Newark Schools Office, including Superintendent Dr. Margaret Dames and Deputy Superintendent Br. Ralph Darmento.
