A funeral mass was offered June 26 at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church, Union City for Rosemarie Gerrity (nee: Mazzo) 81, of Union City. She passed away on June 21. She was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Union City. She was a homemaker, wife and mother. Rosemarie was a great sports fan who avidly supported the Giants, Yankees and Knicks. Rosemarie was the wife of the late Deputy Police Chief Walter Gerrity. She was the mother of Mitchell and Scott Gerrity as well as the mother in law of Eileen Higgins-Gerrity. She was the sister of Ruth Silvestri and Gloria Siciliano and was also the grandmother of Bernadette, Alexa and Matthew Gerrity. Services arranged by Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
