Ken Chmielewski and Emil Hudak met recently to formulate plans for the 26th Annual Bayonne Sports Reunion. “Participants at the reunion are athletes who dominated the sports scene in Bayonne during the 1940s, ‘50’s, and 60’s,” Chmielewski said. “Their accomplishments are well known and are still talked about in sports circles to this day. Many of them still reside in Bayonne.” The reception committee of Joe Acito, Dick Brodowski, Chet Kuczynski, Bob Lynch, Frank Nilan, Ted Zientek, and Nick Nugent will be on hand to greet those attending the festivities.The affair will begin at noon on May 18 at The Starting Point at First Street and Avenue A in Bayonne. The event is open to the general public.
