Funeral services were held April 15 at Emanuel Pentecostal Church, Jersey City, for Vincent W. Walker. He was born in Jersey City to the late JC and Clio Walker and raised by his step father the late Randolph R. Brown. In 1974, Vincent enlisted in the United States Army and was an honorably discharged veteran. He later married his long time sweetheart Ernestine Williams better known as ‘Sister.’ Uncle Vinny, as he was known to many, loved his family and would take on the whole world by himself just to protect his loved ones. He leaves to treasure his memory, his wife Ernestine Walker; three sisters Valeria, Zarita, and Tara; three brothers Marvin, Raymond, and Douglas; two brother in laws Chris and Steven; six sister in laws Stacy, Phyllis, Tina, Terry, Vanessa and Angie; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
