A funeral mass was held April 12 at Immaculate Conception Church for George D. Harris, 83, of Secaucus, formerly of Weehawken. He passed away April 8. He was the husband of Edna R. Harris; father of Peter Harris and his wife Karen; grandfather of Shea and Thomas Harris; brother of Rosemary Morie, Patrick Harris and the late Peter, James and Thomas Harris. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great great niece. George served in the US Army. He was a member of the Secaucus American Legion Post 118 and was employed by Western Electric in Kearny. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
