As pastor of St. Andrew The Apostle Parish, I would like to take this opportunity to commend the workers of the Parks & Recreation Department and Public Works department, led by Gary Chmielewski and Pete Amadeo for their time setting up the Dennis Collins Park for our use on Easter Sunday. We have been here in Bergen Point for more than 16 years, and our city workers have gone above and beyond in their help to set up the park for the community celebration. A lot of work went into making this day possible. Without the help of our workers here in the City of Bayonne, this tradition would not be possible.
