On Friday, March 29, 2013; beloved husband of Claire (nee: Klekanos) Carter; loving father of Lawrence Carter and girlfriend Lauren Anders, and Kimberly Casais and husband Luis; dear brother of Kathryn Carter, Christine Spengler and husband Joseph, Janice Antonik and husband Gregory, and Donald Carter and wife Peggy; cherished grandfather of Kylie; also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his dog, Cassidy. Funeral Mass was held on April 5 at St. Henry Roman Catholic Church. `
