Funeral services have been held for Antonette Malvaso, a lifelong resident of Hoboken. She passed away March 31 at her home surrounded by her family. ‘Antonietta’ as she was known by many, had recently celebrated her 100th birthday on October 31, 2012. Mrs. Malvaso worked as a garment worker for the J & S Coat Company in Hoboken. She was predeceased by her loving husband Claduo in 1949. She will be missed by her children Vincenzo Malvaso, and Maria Malvaso of Hoboken and Vera Malvaso of Italy; two grandchildren Antionio and Rosanna Giasi; and two great-grandchildren Flavia Mezzalina and Federica Giasi also of Italy; also surviving are a host of cousins of the Lisa family.
