79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, at Brandywine Nursing Home in Brick, N.J. Bodson was born in Bayonne and lived there all his life. He worked as a sales representative for Matchless Metal & Polish Company in Linden for more than 15 years. He was a member of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. Beloved father of Karen Kachmar, Lori Bodson, and David Bodson, and husband of Loretta Bodson. Grandfather of Christopher Kachmar, Kimberly Plemons and her husband Jeremy, Noelle McCabe and Erin McCabe. Great-grandfather of Trinity Plemons. The viewing was at the KEENAN O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, INC. ,984 Avenue C. A funeral mass was offered on April 2 at St. Andrew’s Church. Interment was at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
