HOBOKEN — The city of Hoboken announced around 11:30 a.m. that a contractor at a construction site at 14th Street and Willow Avenue hit a 30” water main. All or most of Hoboken is without water.
This came less than 12 hours after a water main break caused a sinkhole to open up and swallow a car on Willow Avenue.
United Water is working to isolate the break. More details will be provided through the City website at www.hobokennj.gov as information becomes available.
