To the Editor:
The Shamrock Society of Bayonne would like to sincerely thank all the people who made their Kick-off to St. Patrick’s Day party a great success. It would not have been possible without the support of the Shamrock Society’s members, along with the local community businesses. A heartfelt thank-you is extended to the Duffy family, Gill family, Kathy Harden, Peggy McGarvey, and the Mulcahy family. The generous donations from Al Richard’s Chocolates, Intrigue Salon, and Rocky Halsey and the N.Y. Yankees made the evening truly grand.
We would like to thank New York Brogue for the wonderful musical entertainment, as well as Alex and Terry’s Delicatessen for the delicious corned beef dinner, and Danny Boys’ Pub for the refreshments.
A particular thank-you is extended to Mary Cole and the Cole family for their continued support of the Shamrock Society and their generous donation to the Robert C. Cole scholarship fund.
