A funeral mass was offered March 9 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Ann Labes, 75, of Jersey City, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away March 7 at the Jersey City Medical Center. After many years of service, Ann retired as an Intake Counselor for the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Center in Jersey City. She will be missed by her three sons, William and his wife Marie, David and his wife Barbette, and Ronald “Ron” Labes; four brothers, Michael, Richard, Dennis and Jerry, and a sister Virginia. A great joy in her life was her grandson, Jonathan. Also surviving is her companion Kevin Cole and her dog Temple. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
