A funeral mass took place March 2 at St. Augustine’s Church for Joseph Calderaro of Keansburg. He passed away Feb. 25. He is survived by his wife, Julia. He was the father of Jennifer, Christina, Jonathan and Cassandra and the grandfather of Dominick, Diomari and Desiree. Joe is also survived by three brothers, Vincent, John and Angelo. He worked for over 25 years for the City of Union City driving school busses. He was also active with the American Red Cross as a volunteer. His work for Union City involved close cooperation with the police there and he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 46. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
