The funeral liturgy was offered Feb. 19 at Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church for Eva Fedash, 82, a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She died on Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was employed by the Colgate Palmolive Company in for over 40 years. She was a member of the Sisterhood and the Choir of Saints Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Jersey City. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia nee Zavowsky; the sister of the late Anna Csernica and John Fedash; the aunt of Mark Csernica, Gregory Csernica, Deborah Silowka, Kyra Michalski, Laura Dobias and the late Charles Michael Csernica; the great aunt of 11 great nieces and nephews and one great great niece; and the lifelong friend of Dr. Thomas Medwick.
