To the Editor:
On Jan. 31, I realized I lost my wallet as I was about to grab a bite to eat while running errands throughout Bayonne and Jersey City. I panicked and after backtracking everywhere I went, I headed home. As I entered my house, I noticed my wallet on the floor under my mailbox. My tenant told me that a Bayonne Police Officer dropped it off. Amazing! He was “just doing his duty.”
To this officer, you are a true blessing! Police officers endure a lot of criticism, but don’t often get applauded for their actions. Thank you so much for your actions and for going out of your way to serve our community! God bless.
