A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Feb. 14 at St. Mary’s Church in Jersey City for Felix Vazquez, 65. He passed away suddenly Feb. 9. Born in Puerto Rico, Felix resided in Jersey City for most of his life. He was employed as building superintendant for several properties both in New York and New Jersey before retiring. Felix is the husband of Margarita (nee: Rosado), 45 years married; father of Sonia Vazquez, Jeannette Vazquez Colon (Adalberto, JCPD), Carmen Vazquez Torres (Beamin), Daisy Vazquez Ortiz (Raymond, Lt. JCPD); father in law of the late Reynaldo Garcia; grandfather of Reynaldo, Jr., Adalberto, Jr., Mayalynn, Lyanna, Raymond, Jr., Roberto, Margarita and Jonathan; also survived by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
