A funeral mass took place Feb. 12 at Our Lady of Mercy Church for Anthony J. Manziano, 88, affectionately known as ‘Tony Manz’ and noted for his melodious voice in the singing of ‘Sinatra Songs.’ He died Feb. 9 at his home. A lifelong Jersey City resident, he was the son of the late Rose (Niscia) and Louis Manziano. He retired as a budget director for Eastern Railroad Association, New York City. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He was the husband of the late Phyllis Pacella Manziano; father of Louis and his wife Fran and Anthony Manziano; grandfather of Allison J. and Anthony J. Manziano; brother of Clarence and his wife Anna and the late Louis G. Manziano; longtime friend and companion of Josephine Nawrocki and her daughter Josephine Smyczynski. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
