A funeral mass took place Jan. 28 at St. Ann R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Nicholas Salletto, 88, of Hoboken. He passed away Jan. 24 at Christ Hospital in Jersey City. Born in Paterson, Nicholas resided in Hoboken most of his life. Nicholas was a graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelors of Science degree in education and mathematics, he taught in both the Hoboken school system as well as AJ Demarest Jr. High School as a math teacher for many years. He was a member of his professional association during his employment with the Hoboken Board of Education. He was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and John Salletto. Nicholas is survived by his only sister, Mary Grace Salletto. He will also be missed by a host of cousins. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
